Privacy Policy

Crystal does not collect any personally identifiable information.

Crystal uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymized usage data in order to help understand how to improve the app. TelemetryDeck does not collect any personally identifiable information. You can read more about TelemetryDeck's privacy policy at https://telemetrydeck.com/privacy.

In addition to the metadata listed in TelemetryDeck's privacy policy, data transmitted to TelemetryDeck includes:

• Basic configuration information about the server(s) you connect to, such as the type of software (e.g. Mastodon, Pixelfed), version number, and supported media formats. This information is not sufficient to identify specific servers.
• Whether you sign in to an account, but not anything that identifies the account.
• Metadata about how you use app features, such as the length of slideshows viewed.

You may opt out of usage data collection in Settings > Apps > Crystal on your Apple TV.

If you connect Crystal to a Mastodon server, your use of that server is governed by the privacy policy and terms of use of the server you choose. The developer of Crystal is not affiliated with any Mastodon server.
